It smelled bad but they had great products at a great price. I've noticed they've recently dropped prices on their higher end flower. The staff could stand to be a little less ratty. Overall a fine experience. I will be back.
Quite simply, way too expensive for my budget. Just about all the other stores in the general area will save you 20-25%
This place represents everything that is wrong with Washington's recreational cannabis system. New Vansterdam and its pack of uneducated staff will try to get over on you any way they can. Constantly ripping people off. Over priced, weak bud. The manager Jacob Laurlia is a creppy individual. He was trying to sell me a vape pen and cartridge while simultaneously, and shamelessly flirting with a young girl who must have worked under him. His Bullshit was getting thick, so I took his advice and bought the pen he suggested....BIG MISTAKE!!! Even the nice elderly man that works the front door warned me about him, saying " hes the kind of guy who will shake your hand, while pissing on your leg at the same time!" ...So basically, it cost me 120 bucks to learn that New Vansterdam is definitely an establishment to avoid. Buy privately or, if you must, try Main Street Marijuana out... at the very least, its cheeper than NV.
And not in a good way. The shop is nice, the staff are nice, but their prices are insanely high, no pun intended. Nobody wants to pay over $40/g, like quite a bit of their stuff is. Nor do they want to pay over $30, which is where the bulk of their supply is at. While they claim to be the largest supplier in the state, none of that means jack when it's gonna cost you a small fortune to shop here. You are far better off bypassing this store and heading straight up to Longview, where prices are all below $30 and are actually mostly closer to $20/g. What will cost you $100 at this shop will only cost you $75 in Longview. Oh, and edibles, topicals, etc are all easily found in Longview too! The only reason to come here is if they happen to offer something decent at a good price. You can perhaps find one or two such gems in their menu, but you gotta look hard. IMO, a huge menu is not a bonus.
