Wet Trimming or Dry Trimming - What Makes a Better Bud?

Youve poured your heart and soul into your plants for the last several months, carefully monitoring their sunlight exposure, how much water theyve received, and so many other details. Those big, beautiful plants have finished flowering and the trichomes are at their peak.

Its time to harvest.

Now comes the question that cannabis growers have been battling over for decades. Wet trim or dry trim?

Whats the right method for you? It depends. There are pros and cons to each.

Because youre not hanging entire branches to dry, wet trimming also takes up less space. If your work area is small and space is at a premium, this may influence your choice.

When wet trimming, the leaves tend to be easier to trim off of the bud because they havent yet dried and wrapped themselves closer to the bud. This means that wet trimmed buds tend to look a bit tidier than those that have been dry trimmed.

With dry trimming, youll need some space to hang your buds to cure while theyre still on the branch. This also means that youll need some patience, as this step will take somewhere around a week, depending on your humidity levels and airflow.

Once the buds are dried, though, dry trimming offers ...
