Marijuana buffalo jerky to be made at Aspen facility
ASPEN Pitkin Countys first facility approved to produce pot edibles will make marijuana buffalo jerky.
The Aspen Times reports commissioners granted a one-year license to High Mountain Taxi owner Todd Gardner, who plans to make Cannabis Queen Jerky from dried buffalo meat infused with cannabis oil.
Each piece of jerky will carry a THC brand stamp, one of the recommendations voiced during an April meeting.
Gardner had asked for a continuance during the meeting to address concerns.
