The Largest Cannabis Golf Tournament In The Northwest Hits The Green This Summer In Oregon
Later this month cannabis industry professionals will put down their lighters and pick up their golf clubs as the second annual Fore Twenty Golf Tournament comes to Portland on June 30th. It is a business tradition to fortify deals and build relationships on the golf course, and with the budding cannabis industry it is no different. This years tournament will see 55 cannabis brands from Oregon hit the green to tee it high and let it fly, as MRX Labs defends their title in the largest cannabis tournament in the northwest.
This sold out private golf event has spiked interest from celebrity and sport figures alike as cannabis becomes less taboo around The United States. Former NBA All-Star and current sports cannabis activist, Cliff Robinson, will be in attendance as he helps pave the way so cannabis can be accepted as an alternative to pain killers and other addictive medications for athletes that are injured and worn down during their careers. Cannabis helped me deal with the physical and mental stress of being a professional athletes for 18 years. Im so grateful that now in 2016 Im able to put my beliefs to work, and help the sports industry understand how cannabis can be an alternative solution for athletes all over the world.
