I just received my MMJC in the mail today! I am so grateful to have a doctor like Dr DAmbrosio. The conversation was easy and quick. Basically no questions asked besides “do you live with your parents and if so, are they ok with this?” Lmao

Francis D'Ambrosio is a straight up gangsta! He hooked me up with a medical marijuana recommendation less than a minute after I first spoke to him. Gangsta is truly the best marijuana doctor in the game!!!!!

My experience with Frank has been nothing but positive! It was so easy to get a medical marijuana card. If you read the other reviews, you’d notice how they are either 5 stars or 1 star. Those who rated Frank 5 stars are people who wanted to get medical marijuana cards. Those who rated Frank 1 star are those who think marijuana is evil and are pissed that he gave their adult child a medical marijuana card. So when reading the reviews, the average star rating is irrelevant. The only thing that is important is knowing who you are: someone who wants medical marijuana (5 stars), or someone who thinks marijuana should be illegal (1 star).

If it were not for Doctor Frank, I would have never gotten a cure for my insomnia. Before I got a medical marijuana card, I would have a tough time sleeping. I would be lying in bed awake from 5 minutes to 5 hours! Since I got the card, I get a peaceful night of sleep every night.

I believe in medical marijuana. I believe that some people really do benefit from it, and that it is a much better alternative to using other prescription drugs. However that being said there is an undeniable link between the use of marijuana and increased symptoms of mental illness. Now this doesn't happen for everyone and I understand that. However if you've been diagnosed with a mental disorder and medicate yourself with marijuana you are statistically much more likely to suffer from its use than to gain from it. This doctor has shown little interest in what's doing right for the patient. I encourage you to do your research on the kind of man and doctor he is before you give him any money. Even if you don't have a mental illness I hope from this review you might realize that Dr. Francis isn't in the least concerned with what happens to you or how you might be negatively affected. He doesn't look into your medical history, he doesn't explain how your current medications might interact, as far as i'm concerned this man isn't a doctor. People like him don't deserve to call themselves that. If you give him money, just realize your helping a man who has done a lot of bad in his career.

Dr. Francis called me when I made the appointment on nuggmd and the phone call only took 60 seconds. Immediately afterwards, he sent me a doctors recommendation and I immediately hit up my nearest dispensary. Truly the best doctor!

Dr. D'Ambrosio is great, all of these negative reviews are just coming from white moms who have been brainwashed by the post-Reagan anti-drug culture they grew up under. This man has helped so many people who would have no access to the help they need otherwise.

I have known Dr. D'Ambrosio since 2000 . All you whiners go take a look in your medicine cabinet ,they're probably prescriptions that are far more dangerous than some weed. by the way i'm 58 and have never smoked weed. This scumbag gave my 18 year old son a permission letter to obtain medical marijuana when my son does not have a medical need for marijuana. Thank god the package was intercepted by a friend. Shame on you!!!

He's great. He makes you feel much more comfortable than some of the other types of Doctors I've seen. Sounds like many of the reviews below are results of bad parenting and not the Doctor. Highly recommended.

My daughter just got off a 5150 hold and this guy “prescribed” her medical marijuana with no background information from her. He’s reckless and we will be prosecuting.

Fraud. Gave my mentally ill kid a medical marijuana card after 2 minute FaceTime call. Didn’t consult his psychologist, psychiatrist, or primary care physician. Didn’t confirm other prescriptions or interactions with other medications. Did no medical evaluation whatsoever. My kid will die because of this man’s greed and malpractice.

What kind of a dr prescribes medical marijuana to an 18 year old kid he's never met in less than 5 minutes? Why would any Doctor think its a good idea to have a teenager begin self-medicating with a mood altering substance when all the research out there shows how detrimental it can be to their developing brains? Because he's a failed orthopedic surgeon from Nevada who is hungry for $39 from my 18 yr old son he earned while walking dogs. You are a disgrace. You don't even give them a dosage..they go to the dispensary and get whatever they want. Nice going...you are slowly killing a generation of bright kids. I have to forgive you and hope that a teen high off your prescription doesnt get behind the wheel of a car anywhere near you. Having Francis G. D'Ambrosio provide me with a medical marijuana card is, I feel, why I am alive and functioning today. I received far more compassion from Dr. D'Ambrosio than I did from the other doctors that ran the other way when my husband died...leaving me to figure out how to deal with and survive the aftermath on my own. - booneymouse

Calling this man ‘doctor’ is an insult to many doctors who practice their profession with healthy consciousness. This guy is a criminal as he writes prescriptions without seeing the patients mostly teens. Why would he give a f**** to somebody’s pup as no one saved him from a bad reputation as an orthopedic surgeon, right? He is full of anger and rage towards young adults and does everything in his power to make them losers just like himself.

We will do everything to prosecute for the illegal prescriptions that you are giving to clients that you never met.

Well at least you aren't cutting on people anymore. Another surgeon had to try fix the mess you made of me. The anesthesiologist gave me the card of a lawyer but you had already maxed out your malpractice insurance. You left Nevada with a big stain on your record and I am trying to get our legislators to pass something so people in other states can see what you did in Nevada. He sent me home 250 miles away with a hole in my spinal column, leaking spinal fluid, with a raging infection. I ended up with a pic line to my heart with antibiotics and antibiotic beads in my hip that never dissolved. The bone grew around them and they hurt. You ruined my life I am left with severe chronic pain, while you sit on your fat ass and smoke cigs and float in your pool, I try to live on a disability income.

I find it just amazing that this Dr can prescribe a medical marijuana card to my 18-year old without ever seeing him. Unbelievable. Your ease to just give a teen developing in life access to marijuana without ever meeting him and spending 2 minutes on the phone amazes me. Honestly for those who might need this....great. But for a teen? And your document lied in the first sentence. “After evaluating XXXX I. My office...”. You should be ashamed of yourself. For $39. Dang. Hope you experience with your children. This person , I can’t even call him doctor gives easy access to marijuana to teenagers that turned 18. My son just turned 18 and flew to California to get marijuana permit from this person. I know for sure my son does not have any conditions for marijuana use. It is terrible that this doctor calls himself a doctor. He will go to hell for sure.

Dr. D'Ambrosio kind of made me want to cry in a good way. I wanted a recommendation in hopes that cannabis would help me sleep. I also filled out the online form which also had me voluntarily note that I had anxiety and stress. He called me on the phone and said that it would help me sleep, and would probably help me with my anxiety as well. At the end of the call he told me he'd give me a temporary recommendation so I could get my medicine tonight, and he told me to get some sleep. It seemed like he really cared, more so than my general physician at Kaiser; all over a one minute phone call. THANK YOU DOCTOR, and to anyone reading these reviews absolutely I can vouch for this!!!!!
