Amsterdam's Widow is a hybrid strain with a sensational 22% THC content. Not only is the strain well balanced but it is incredibly potent at the same time. Even though little is known about its origins, it is said to be a cross between a South Indian indica and a Brazilian sativa landrace. The strain is quite popular amongst the Dutch communities ever since it was grown for the first time in 1990. The strain produces deep green and fluffy buds which are covered with orange-redish hairs and trichomes. It smells sweet and strong and has a fruity taste to it. The strain and its effects take some time to kick in. The high is a creeper and will hit you like a thunderbolt when you least expect it.
