I am, for the most part, a rookie grower even though it is something my family has dabbled in since the early 80s when nobody even knew what Cannabis was. Back when blonde lebanis hash was real popular. The past couple of years I have grown a few plants in a state (up north) where the grow season is real short. I do not have an indoor set up etc etc. Nothing fancy. I just toss some seeds in the ground and hope for the best. The 'best' has arrived. One of them anyway. This year I noticed one plant would only produce 3 finger leaves. Very healthy, beautiful plant. I thought maybe it would grow out of it. Didnt happpen. So I looked it up. Plant that only produces 3 finger leaves. Much to my surprise, its a strain called Ducksfoot. Hard to find, almost impossible to get. No seeds available. To the best of my knowledge anyway. Now that its almost harvest time, I am stuck in a dilemma. There would be no reason for me to reveg or clone because I dont have the means to keep them growing all winter. Now that I have this 'rare' strain I dont want to lose it. So....do I let the plant go to seed and lose the THC potency, or do I just harvest buds with a ton of THC for everyone to enjoy...once. PS. I dont smoke,,,just love to grow.
