Blueberry is an indica dominant hybrid (80% indica/20% sativa) strain with unknown true parentage. This bud has been traced back to the early 70's when the infamous American breeder DJ Short started playing around with different landrace strains, ultimately resulting in this insanely delicious variety. It is thought to be descended from Purple Thai X Afghan, but we will never know for sure. Nonetheless, Blueberry is one of the most popular strains on the market and took home the 2000 Best Indica award at the High Times' Cannabis Cup thanks to its high-powered effects and mouthwatering blueberry vanilla flavor. The Blueberry high has a euphoric and hazy feel to it that creeps up on you slowly before washing over you with a sense of calm and ease. As this high grows, your mind will fall into a state of hazy introspection that immediately erases any negative or racing thoughts and numbs the brain. With these relaxing effects and its high 16-24% average THC level, Blueberry is said to be perfect for treating conditions such as chronic fatigue, depression, migraines, and chronic stress or anxiety. This bud has grape-shaped olive green nugs with bright blue undertones, fiery orange hairs, and a frosty thick coating of tiny amber colored crystal trichomes. It has a smell much like the taste, with a spicy yet sweet earthy vanilla effect that's accented by fragrant florals.

Nice flavor and sweet smell...fruity inhale and very earthy exhale. Very relaxing body high, but if I hit too much, I get really lit. Then paranoia sets in, but that happens sometimes no matter what strain when I get that tore up. Once I get busy, I just ride it out. Then all is calm again and it's time for a snack. Moderation is the key.

I enjoy a nice Indica. Blueberries is an amazing strain with an incredible lineage. The complete body high is amazing. Blueberry is one of the strains that anytime I see it. I grab it. Unfortunately it’s not around often.

One of my favourite night time strains, rarely come across it in the UK as crossbreeding is at an all time lately. Great for pain, sleep and relaxation.

yeh honestly hate this strain not euphoric or happy at all just feel stupid and and sedated but in a very boring way it tastes really goood and the buds look amazing but the high just just soooo weak and boring to me maybe for a beginner this would be good

DJ Shorts The Original Bluberry was created from Blue Thai. If there isn't any Blue Hues to the Green than you didn't get the real deal. Very Blueberry but more Sweet than berry in both Smell and Flavor. Médium Quality my best guess is around 12% THC distinctively milder than Arcata Trainwreck tested at 14.9% THC. Blueberry definitely puts you in a better mood that increases with every puff and after smoking immediately for about the next half hour after finishing smoking. Definitely a strain that will give you the munchies.

The perfect strain for having pain and soul relief and healing, any time of day. Blueberry has been around for over 40 years, and should be considered a Landrace and one of the greatest strains of all time. I was so young when I first tried Blueberry in the 80's working for a grower in Occidental. It was the age of discovery for Indica strains. It was magic then and is the same today with stable genetics. DJ Short was a legend in the NorCal Guerilla growing world. He created unique Indica phenomes with Sativa genes at 25% to make the extra dense growth and add height. Imagine 15' Cannabis trees with the strong scent of not just Blueberry, but Banana and Orange. Then as now, the perfect balance of Peaceful Bliss, uplifting thoughts, and a body high that is like meditation, I am so happy this strain lives on!!

Blueberry has to be in the Cannabis Hall of Fame by now! If you get the original you will understand why so many people absolutely love it. It can be pretty rare, but not impossible to find although you might have to grow your own to get the real deal. Smells exactly like blueberry gumballs and tastes similar although I've had phenos that taste more like blueberry fruit/syrup. Super frosty short Indica plants and the high is great. 👍 Definitely one of the best smelling and one of my favorite strains of all time. #legendary
