Borrello is an indica dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the delicious Gelato 33 X Do-Si-Dos strains. Named for former Michigan judge Stephen Borrello, this bud pays tribute to his landmark decision that shot down a cannabis monopoly looking to control the industry in Michigan. That being said, Borrello is often sought out not only for its cool heritage but also for its soothing, nighttime high that will have you ready to kick back and get snacking in no time at all. The high will wash over you slowly, filling you with a slow burn of happiness that eventually will inch out any negative thinking or bad moods. As your mind settles into this blissful place, a sense of calm will begin to wash over you, allowing you to settle down both cerebrally and physically before you finally drift away and fall asleep. Given these effects and its high 20-21% average THC level and 1% average CBD level, Borrello is often said to be perfect for treating chronic pain, depression, cramps or the symptoms of PMS, appetite loss or nausea and insomnia. This bud has a sweet and creamy vanilla cookie taste with hints of sugary grapes and berries.
