Grapelato, also known as “GrapeLato,” is a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created through crossing the classic Grape Kush X Gelato strains. Named for its delicious flavor, Grapelato brings on high-flying effects and a potent high that's perfect for a lazy night spent at home enjoying Netflix or some tunes. This bud has a sweet and spicy grape flavor with a lightly sour citrusy exhale. The aroma is very similar, although with touches of spicy earth to it, too. The high comes on with a slow build of effects, sinking its warming tendrils into your mind with a giggly unfocused euphoria. You'll feel an influx of creativity in this state, stimulating the mind and getting your juices flowing. A relaxing body high accompanies this headband-like state, soothing aching muscles and easing any sort of physical tension. Combined with its moderately high 15-18% average THC level, these effects make Grapelato perfect for treating conditions such as chronic pain, depression or mood swings, chronic stress and nausea or appetite loss. Definitely a creeper strain. I’m an every day smoker due to chronic abdominal pain, and this strain certainly seemed to help ease my pain by about 50-60%; which is better luck than I typically have with marijuana, however I didn’t truly notice the effects until around 30 minutes after smoking 1 small bowl. Either way, worth a try for those who suffer from chronic pain.
