Hawaiian Indica is a slightly indica dominant hybrid (60% indica/40% sativa) strain created through crossing the classic Northern Lights #5 X Hawaiian strains. This bud has won multiple awards across its lifespan, with the most notable being 1st Place Overall at the High Times' Cannabis Cup in 1993 and the HighLife Cup in 2003. And once you taste its delicious tropical fruity menthol flavor and experience its stoney effects, you'll soon understand why. Hawaiian Indica has an oddly addictive sweet mango flavor with a notable hint of menthol on each sharp exhale. The smell is very sweet and tangy with a tropical citrus overtone that becomes slightly spicy as the nugs are burned. Wonderful to grow. Tangerine/Citrus/Grapefruit aromas hit you right up front, dried it does have a slight "menthol-ness". Strong sativa hit and then you feel the warm relaxation of the indica coming on. I would make it a staple grow, but it's hard to come by. I do love love Blue Dream, highly recommended when you can't get this...
