Avatar, also known as “Avatar OG” or “Avatar Kush,” is a sativa dominant hybrid strain (80% sativa/20% indica) created through crossing the classic Jack Herer X Champagne strains. Named for the iconic James Cameron movie, Avatar has a totally gorgeous appearance that's much like the famed blue characters. This bud has fat dense grape-shaped emerald green nugs with beautiful sapphire blue undertones, bright orange hairs and a coating of thick and frosty blue-tinted white crystal trichomes. This strain is for the veteran smoker, or those who can handle Jack Herer. A high dose of this helps me manage the anxiety and IBS that comes alongside high functioning autism with no problems. I also like the fact that this strain is a 1:1, that means I don't have to smoke a salad bowl to get the effects that I typically look for. All the other people I've met that tried this strain also cannot handle it. I don't know if it's because of how high THC it is, the terpene composition, or my body chemistry being as alien as this strains namesake.

This strain is not good for anyone who has anxiety as it incredibly made my thoughts race and the paranoia.

this strain made me incredibly anxious. as someone who seeks marajuana as an aid for my anxiety, i hate this strain.
