Delight, also known as “Afternoon Delight,” is a sativa dominant hybrid (70% sativa/30% indica) strain created through crossing the infamous Banana X Schrom X Tangie strains. Delight is most famous among cannabis users for its highly arousing effects, although its flavor might get you, too. Delight has a sweet apple berry flavor with hints of nutty earthy pine upon exhale that are incredibly smooth. The smell takes on a slightly pungent skunky effect, blending fresh fruits and diesel with together for a beautiful symphony of aromas that will leave your mouth watering. The Delight high doesn't start off making you horny – rather, it slowly builds into this before launching you head over heels. It starts with a euphoria that rushes into your mind and body, lifting your spirits and leaving you feeling like you could walk on air. A tingly effect comes next, leaving you vibrating with energy and arousal for hours on end. Not the biggest fan of being high, don’t mind a light buzz and that is why I tried this strain. Well getting too high isn’t a problem with Delight, in fact I have never pulled even a light buzz from it. I will say though, this weed is awesome for pain and to help you relax. I suffer from degenerative disk and joint disease, combat related PTSD, and migraines from a head injury and this helps relieve a lot of the pain and allows me to stop thinking about shit that happened years ago. I liked it so much, I bought all that my dispensary had over the course of three days. I did mix up a bit of Delight with some Watermelon OG to give it a bit of a buzz and wow, a super nice comfy high and just total relaxed and pain free.
