Purple Zacatecas is a rare 100% pure sativa strain that is native to the Zacatecas region in South America. The original parent of “Big Sur Holy Weed,” this bud is a favorite of both breeders and patients alike thanks to its energizing effects and gorgeous coloration. The Purple Zacatecas high starts with an almost immediate slam of heady effects, filling the mind with pure unfocused happiness and a high-flying lifted sense. it's not as strong as some other sativas, but it is beautiful in its effect. a true daytime, day-brightener high. can go into slightly psychedelic with high doses, but overall is just a great mood elevator, with zero heaviness. the real one is almost extinct, and takes around 16-20 weeks to finish flowering, with very airy bud sites and spacing between each individual bud, and slender, spike like buds over rounded chunky buds. That is a way to tell authenticity. The smell is mentholated forest floor and acidic, almost vinegar like, woods, but the flavor has an unmistakable caramel taste. 99% of all so called Zacatecas Purple offerings, are not genuine.
