NETA - Northampton

My husband and I ordered the night before for pickup the following day. We really had no idea what to expect, as the last time we went was just "random" and at the spur of the moment when they first opened for adult use. Well, were we ever pleasantly surprised! They are so incredibly well-organized and accommodating. From the person who first greeted us at the door, to the young woman guiding us through the process inside, to our departure after purchasing our product, everything moved like a well-oiled machine. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Parking is ample and a breeze; everything is clearly marked. Strong police presence but in no way intimidating - simply there to help answer questions, provide direction, and protect the premises. I am eligible for a MMC but, in the meantime, Northampton NETA's online ordering for adult use made everything so easy. We have to travel a bit to get to you, but the trip is worth it. We will be back. Thank you!

I been here with NETA since they open there doors .I never had any problems at all .I am a patient and because one person didn't like it they close them down NETA is the best.now we have to suffer for one feeling s hurt .ridicules

Not on the up and up. This place tries to deceive you into thinking their coupons and specials are applicable to all, consumers. They are not. The coupons are for medical patients ONLY! The rest of the recreational users are discriminated against at this dispensary. They trick you into thinking the coupons are good, get there is too late. For example, they lead you to believe the coupons posted on the website are for all to redeem. There are some coupons clearly marked for medical patients, others are not. But those that are NOT marked for medical patients ARE for medical patients ONLY, but look like if they are for the recreational users. Their coupons discriminate and are meaningless to the recreational consumer. It's not clear in some of their coupons who the coupons is for medical users or recreational users?. They never tell you it's for medical patients only. It's certainly not worth the the trip if one is traveling from out of town. The coupons would have made this place attractive otherwise. There is no reason way the recreational consumer should choose to purchase here, over any other dispensary that might be closer. Why take a trip? One is better off purchasing from their competitors in your own town. This is a dishonest dispensary evident in their coupons content and posting on their website. Not all coupons state on line or anywhere else that they are for medical patients only! Go figure!

So, I have to say, hats off to Neta for getting the ball rolling for recreational cannabis in MA - they had their fingers on the pulse and were able to cash in. That said, with more and more dispensaries coming online and offering more and different goods, Neta has less and less that I'm interested in. They have lovely flower, but their limits are too restrictive; their in-house strains are so-so. When they get strains like Bruce Banner, Lee Roy, Golden Lemons, they run out lightning fast, leaving the more blah strains like Flo (NB: not Flo OG!), & the various Haze strains they always have, in abundance. Their gummies are a little odd - the Chews are foul-tasting and slimy, the Lumens are the best of the chewables, and the gems are tasty. The best edible offered, far and away, are the Belgian chocolate bars - absolutely the BEST chocolate edible in Western MA (run, don't walk, to get them!). I really like the Rubi vapes, but they are quite pricey and quickly consumed. The Apex vapes are not great - they clog repeatedly and a lot of residue is left behind at 'the end' of the vape. Also, for a very brief time, the 1000mg vapes were available to adult use, but have returned to med only - this is a shame, the 1000mg vapes were a terrific value. Anyhoo, I hope Neta is able to keep current and move forward as they are a solid dispensary.

Great staff, have never been disappointed with the distillate, shatter or rubi products. Flower is good, but limits are a bummer. I’ve been 6-7 times and have met some nice people in line and always come away feeling happy with my purchase.

They will stay busy because most don't know better at this point, but NETA is subpar at this juncture. I was happy to finally be able to make a "legal" purchase, but I won't be going back. The flower is so dry, and there were a few small, undeveloped seeds. I was shocked because of how they tout their "controlled environment" etc. For the last 2 years, I've used an extremely reliable delivery service that is so professional and always has everything readily available, and I've never gotten bud that dry. Not acceptable at all. They've also severely limited what you can get recreationally, or as they put it, "adult use." Don't claim to have prepared so much for the addition of recreational customers when you clearly have not accounted for the demand at all. You can barely get anything per visit as a recreational customer because of this, and I would be really upset waiting in the normal line for several hours. Oh, and once you get called to go inside, you must wait another 30 minutes at least in another line inside. It's utterly ridiculous at this point. They also don't update the reserve order emails to reflect that while you don't have to wait in the normal line, you still have to wait in a line for reserved orders, which was over 30 minutes today. Just meh.
