Token Herb. Recreational

Beings that people have off days and soooo many stipulations they have to abide by. token herb is a pretty good place and when I'm in a bad mood I've actually changed my mood by just talking with both people that work the store!

Terrible. Sean is a downright Jerk. Pull out my medical card and he proudly says “that does you no good here” like he’s happy to not give me good service. He claims that they are only recreational. I’d believe it if it didn’t say otherwise online and the stuff I bought didn’t have the motto “respect the cure” what bull. He’s an arogant jerk and I wouldn’t give him my business anymore. Friday harbor is worth the Ferry trip.

So I loved this shop until the day I walked in and Sean O'Brien, the manager, was working. I went in with a friend and my daughter. We were talking amongst ourselves and my daughter asked my friend a question. (A little background on my friend: he consults on tier three grow operations and really knows his stuff.) Sean rudely interrupted our conversation to throw down his knowledge, tried to start a fight with my friend. Honestly, it was scary. Sean was threatening and demeaning, it honestly felt like he was about to jump over the counter and assault my friend. After my friend walked out, Sean started talking smack about my friend to me. Including calling him an asshole. It was surreal. Especially considering the fact that my friend is the mellowest, most non threatening guy you have ever met. I left without purchasing and won't go back. Too bad, because the girl that works there is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. Sean is a liability. As a professional in the liquor industry, I can't believe it's legal for someone that aggressive to be running a store that sells controlled substances.

I received the worst customer service from a Sean O'Brien supposedly the store manager. He was extremely rude with a condescending low-life attitude.

Great shop. Also, the only game in town.

Ok so i have been living overseas since 2006. I was a daily smoker before leaving the usa but as my new job tested every 2 month and random and paid a crap load of money i have not smoked in about 6 yrs. so now i am on lovely Orcas Island and this is my first experience with a shop like this. From walking through the door it is organized clean and like it should be without trying to hard. Selection is ok and should get better. But for all you that have never had to wait on the street while your buddy went to a seedy house hoping not to get ripped off. This and all shops like it are a god send. Just wish they were open earlier.. but is a great place and great customer service..
