I am a local so I've been here before but last time I spoke to the guy behind the counter about how things are tricky as a single parent during covid. I told him this year I was disappointed about my daughter missing out. He responded strangely and I was shoo'ed out for another customer. So that's all fine except I realized soon after that he was saying that he was a single father and was under the impression I thought I was missing out on something because I have a daughter. Well I was dropping something off at the post office next door the next day and decided to clear up the confusion. Different guy behind the desk. I let him know what happened and asked if he could let the guy know because it's really awkward to come to The Green Stop given those circumstances. He then yelled at me, that it would be fine with him if I never came back to the store. He was very rude immediately upon entering and then became more aggressive until I left. I was mostly confused if anything. I simply reiterated once that as a single parent during covid, assuming a man doesn't want to be around his daughter is at the very least insensitive. Even after I said this he yelled at me.
