Just The Beginning With Medical Marijuana In Ohio
An e-mail I received out of Ohio today:
Earlier this month, Ohio became the 25th medical marijuana state, a compassionate step toward helping thousands of ill patients. But passing the law was just the beginning.
While were happy the government passed the bill, we dont trust the government to faithfully and speedily implement the law unless were at the table with them. Its up to us to ensure the system is fair and delivers on the promises lawmakers made to create a compassionate program.
In case you missed it, there are already issues with the new law. A well-meaning provision that sets aside 15% of the states medical marijuana businesses for minorities may be unconstitutional.
