These Marijuana Strains are the Most Expensive in the World

When a budtender discreetly pulls out buds from the top shelf, you know youre about to get something exquisite and rare (like a Pokmon). Most of the time, highly coveted marijuana strains cost an extra $15-40, leaving some people grumbling silently, as they pull out their wallet.

The history behind the Oracle is controversial: it supposedly draws its roots from the AC/DC strain (according to The Werc Shop, a Los Angeles-based laboratory). AC/DC buds are commonly sold around Southern California for about $10 per gram. Keeping that price point in mind, each Oracle seed costs a whopping $200, and a clone goes for $1,000.

Some individuals speculate that the expensive price was falsely generated from aggressive marketing antics behind the strain, which caused the underground market to inflate the value of the flower. Furthermore, some question the cannabinoid profile of the herb, claiming that its probably not as THC and CBD-rich as sellers and buyers assume it to be. Either way, several online shops that are selling the strain are not backing down from such claims.
