Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder wherein people experience extreme anxiety as a result of emotional trauma like the realistic threat of death, serious injury, or sexual assault. The use of marijuana for psychiatric conditions is not well studied and comes with various concerns from the medical community, but nonetheless some clinicians and patients report positive results for use of marijuana by PTSD sufferers.
