A well-balanced hybrid with lifting and calming effects, Ecto Cookies is a great choice for any afternoon when you need a little relief but aren't quite ready to hit the hay just yet. The high will settle in. slowly, beginning with a creeping euphoric build that inches your mood higher and higher into outer space. You'll find yourself suddenly feeling super happy and creative with a huge grin on your face, unable to really focus on much of anything but totally okay with it. A soothing body high comes next, creeping into your entire being and lulling you into a state of deep relaxation and calm that isn't too sedative. Combined with its high 20-22% average THC level, these full-bodied effects give Ecto Cookies an edge in treating chronic pain, depression, fibromyalgia, chronic stress and cramps or muscle spasms. This bud has a sweet and sour citrusy lemon cookie taste. The aroma is on the heavier side, with a spicy gassy overtone accented by sour citrusy lemon and woody pine. In my humble opinion, this is the best strain with "cookies" in the name that I have had the pleasure of consuming. It affects me in just the right way when I'm needing a mood boost, or when I cannot get my attitude adjusted to the task at hand. The head high is very "clearing" and not overwhelming as it stops short of causing haziness or anxiety. My favorite aspect is the way the euphoria felt is not overwhelming at onset but continues to build nicely for the first hour or two. This kicks out any lingering depression as well as cause a shift in perspective that helps me to be more positive and productive at work.
